Diagnosis
Inside the electrical compartment, the compressor start capacitor had burst. The failure had tripped the breaker, which is why the machine would not turn on or make ice. Diagnosis took about 20 minutes.

The burst start capacitor was replaced. The repair itself took about 15 minutes.

With the new capacitor installed, the ice machine was running again and its operation was restored.
