Start here before scheduling service.
- 01Confirm the cycle is not set to Air Dry or another no-heat option.
- 02Clean the lint screen.
- 03Check that the exterior vent outlet is not obviously blocked.
- 04For an electric dryer, confirm the breaker has not partially tripped.
Safety note
Stop using the dryer immediately if you smell gas, see smoke or notice a burning electrical odor.
